Light upon the feather I ride
I glide,
I glide,
I glide
With the wind beneath my feet
I stride,
I stride,
I stride
Nighttime sheds its dim
And I slide
and slide
and slide
Down,
down,
down
cline
But Down feels like an in↗
Myself to
Shooting toward the sky—
Astronomer, I come to thee
To study your craft and be with
Night.

As you drift to sleep
I weep, I weep
As the shadows creep
I weep, I weep
Upon your body I lay
As you sleep, as you sleep
Your heart slows its beat
I weep, I weep
Into the earth you seep
Take the leap, take the leap
No more will you peep
I weep, I weep
To Asphyxia you move your feet
As I weep, as I weep
You walk away and the price I pay
Is too steep, is too steep
So I weep.

Into the ground—why is it hot?
Into the ground—my limbs go taut
As my body stiffens in death
That has brought me to life
In which my heart savors
A black dove’s flight
Traitors
Live in the sky
But in the ground, I will live and die
Horrible Day
Lively Night
Hot with passion—living flame
The dirt is dark, the climate bright
The mud and the stone I claim
The days, I seek to end—I fight
In the ground I live by rite.

A question, a limit, that tears me in two
Solis e lunas—Sun and Moon.
Which do I praise?
Which do I doom?
Dark, dark
Light,
Dark, dark
Lure me too soon,
My stagnant thoughts
Night and Day—Relieve the moon
I know who to praise, but who do I doom?

Like a sudden jolt ripping open an old wound that had just begun to heal, my heart tore into pieces.
But this time, the pieces would not stitch themselves back together.
As I disappeared like a shadow into the dark of an unknown familiar landscape,
I shivered
I laid there until my flesh seemed to meld with the ground below me
Mountains rose and fell, Rivers born and laid to rest
crossed lashes across my back as I decomposed there
Then the day broke its fast,
Night walked away
But the stars remained to me
Glinting there, shining tears
And the sun arose and shined its light
But the stars never blotted.
Stark
The stars were shining
I plucked one from the sky and pinned it to my ribs
And I swore to protect the sun
As a little spot of light that was too a giver but still reminiscent upon
Night.
